Retail Training

Retail training, through the Retail Operations Traineeship, provides a cost-effective opportunity for employers to train and develop new and existing staff. Participants training in retail operations will develop the knowledge and skills necessary for the successful operation of your retail business. They will obtain an understanding of stock control, customer service and sales, encouraging increased productivity and performance, which can lead to increased profit margins.

The retail training through the retail courses offered can be structured around your business' specific needs. You have full control over the development of your staff while still allowing the participants to work independently through the competencies required. Participants receive competency-based training through self-paced workplace program. Skilled Workplace conducts this training in the workplace, taking into account the busy and slower periods in your business activity. This allows you to choose the most convenient time to train your employees.

Retail traineeships provide employers with an opportunity to select and train employees, to meet their business’s specific requirements. You can take advantage of financial benefits including Federal and State Government funding incentives for eligible trainees.

Retail Traineeships will require successful completion of Certificates II and III in Retail Operations.
